Community outreach is an important aspect to our club. We are thankful for everyone who helps our clubs and events, to give back we do various activities. Every year, on National Young Reader's Day, we go to Kerrydale Elementary school and read to them, afterwards we show them our robot and talk to them about robotics. For the past 2 years, we have hosted 2 First Lego League competitions at our school, for young children to become involved in their school's program. We help set up the fields and volunteer as referees, judges, and pit bosses. We also conduct some mentoring at our local middle school. We would go to the school and give them advice and help on their robot. As seen above, we make the most of our experiences volunteering!
